Not-So-Subtle Neons Appear On The Nike Air Max 270

While there hasn’t been much noise surrounding the Nike Air Max 270 this year (so far), the lifestyle proposition is still easily recognized for its large Air unit in the heel. Perhaps the spring season may be seeing more of the 270-degree Max Air unit as the Nike design team resumes its rollout of new colorways for the model—starting with a pair that uses a mix of neons to liven up an otherwise greyscale silhouette.

The offering features an off-white mesh base that is starkly contrasted by the black tongue and heel. Swooshes and other logos found on the uppers are also tinted black. The midsole and textile overlay on the heel introduce the first neon color, drenched in a bright pink. This is followed by the vivid orange heel counter and signature Air unit. Green applied to the heel pull tab and logos on the tongue add the last touches of brightness to finalize this spring-ready look.

Enjoy official images here below as you wait for the pair to arrive at the listed retailers for $150.

In other Max Air news, the Nike Air Griffey 1 Max “Varsity Royal” is returning April 2021.
