Unquestionably one of the most memorable, recognizable, and audacious Nike sneakers of all-time, the Air More Uptempo is set to return to Nike SNKRS and select retailers on April 16th in one of its boldest colorway iterations ever. While this red, black, and white mix could have very well been an original, it actually first dropped in 2005 as an Asia-exclusive as part of the “Hoop Pack”. It returned to global retailers back in 2017 and again exclusively for kids, but you can count on them being available once again in the middle of the month.
Although these were not around in 1996, the timing of this release almost coincides with the one year anniversary of the premiere of ESPN’s The Last Dance. While the series focused primarily on Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen’s career trajectory and tenure with Chicago was also one of the pivotal plotlines that shaped the legacy of MJ.
You can catch this Nike Air More Uptempo on April 16th for $160.
