The adidas Campus 80s Gets Gilded in “Bold Gold”

With its brushed texture, suede is often reserved for the winter and fall—but suede footwear in bright shades demonstrates otherwise. Clad in a cheery, “Bold Gold” color scheme, a new adidas Campus 80s is arriving well-suited for the warmer seasons—as long as rain isn’t involved.

Despite the uppers appearing to be wholly yellow at first glance, the sides and tongue are split among three varying shades of yellow and gold for a near gradient effect. Similar color-blocking had been used on two women’s Campus 80s, althought in a flashier fashion. For contrast, smooth white leather is used on the heel tab and side stripes while the rubber sole opts for an off-white hue dubbed Cloud White. The look is complete with a herringbone-tread outsole for additional traction.
