A “Black/Metallic Gold” Air Jordan 5 Low Is Set To Release In May

A “Black/Metallic Gold” Air Jordan 5 Low Is Set To Release In May

Despite having recently confirmed 12 pairs as part of the Jordan Brand Summer 2021 retro collection, NIKE, Inc. has left a handful of releases under wraps. Among them, an Air Jordan 5 Low covered in “Black/Metallic Gold,” which has just surfaced via unofficial mock-up.

Although the final product is likely to differ, an initial depiction of the low-top Jordans portray a tonal nubuck upper. Lace guards and mesh detailing on the profiles follow suit, but the lade toggle and top of the tongue deliver stark “Metallic Gold” contrast. The pair’s heel isn’t shown in the image, but it’s likely to boast a Jumpman logo in the same shimmering hue given that shark teeth-inspired accents on the midsole indulge in this color. Lastly, the remainder of the sole unit reverts to an all-“Black” aesthetic, but some tread throughout the outsole may introduce semi-translucent, “smokey” flair into the mix.

Enjoy a first look at the Jordan 5-variant here below, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch before May ends. For any updates, keep it locked here.
