First rumored in early September 2020, Zion Williamson‘s Jordan Zion 1 (previously called the Z-Code) has finally emerged in full detail ahead of an impending springtime launch. Although the basketball sneaker’s inaugural colorway indulges in vibrant shades of red, yellow, blue and green, a newly-surfaced pair indulges in an understated black, white, and gold colorway.
Mixed-materials throughout the upper indulge in a two-tone aesthetic, with the forefoot boasting the style’s darkest hue. Mesh profile windows don a “colorless” makeup that also overtakes the lace guards, heel and much of the sole unit. Collars further partake in the “yin-and-yang”-reminiscent color palette, but feature an all-over “ZION” pattern that introduce much-need flair to the otherwise muted proposition. “ZW” branding on the left shoe’s tongue also injects shimmering silver personality to the sneaker, but don’t distract from their surroundings like the Zion 1‘s original style. Underfoot, tread indulges in a partially translucent finish, and may also feature eye-catching patterns.
Full release details of the Jordan Zion 1 will be unveiled soon. For now enjoy a first-look at the official images black and white pair ahead while you wait and expect a full family size release on April 23rd.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Nike Air Max 95 is celebrating its 26th anniversary in style.
Updated April 22nd, 2021: A release date has been postponed to April 29th.
