As nostalgia continues to dominate the sneaker-sphere, returning retro-style trainers and old-school colorways have been lauded as hot (not-so) new releases. Among these throwback styles is an upcoming Nike Waffle Trainer 2 flaunting a black-on-white color scheme.
Similar to other recently-revealed colorways, this arrangement ditches bold shades for a simple look that can easily make its way into everyday wear. Plush nylon uppers are in a bright white and are accented by the grey suede lacestays and overlays wrapping around the toe and heel. The side swooshes and heel tab opt for buttery black leather, with NIKE printed on the heel tab in white. To further the vintage aesthetic, the tongue uses a yellowed, exposed foam design while a classic black rubber Waffle outsole land underfoot.
