Overshadowed by its taller counterpart, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE is an integral part of Michael Jordan’s signature sneaker history. And as the final chapter of the XI’s 25th anniversary, the Jordan Brand Fall 2021 collection will retro the “International Exclusive” (as Nike’s Gentry Humphrey once clarified) design in its original black-and-red colorway and specifications.

Worn by #23 throughout the 1995-96 NBA season, the Air Jordan 11-variant has received retro treatments throughout the last four decades, but none have revisited the sneaker’s debut design in such meticulous fashion as thee upcoming pair. Genuine leather and mesh take over the entirety of the upper, with the latter appearing at the toe box and along the profiles. Both materials are clad in black, but Jumpman logos on the tongue and the padded collar deliver stark red contrast that have gained this debut style the “Bred” moniker. Elsewhere, the molded sock-liner and exposed carbon fiber shank plate on the medial mid-foot further nod to Tinker Hatfield’s ’95 blueprint. Lastly, the semi-translucent herringbone pattern underfoot ties the one-to-one retro together perfectly, as does the original packaging in which the shoes arrive.

Enjoy product shots of the Jordan 11 Low IE ahead. The shoes are anticipated to release via Nike SNKRS on September 18th.
