The Iconic “Just Do It” Slogan Is Slightly Altered In The Upcoming “Do You” Collection

NIKE, Inc. has become synonymous with innovative footwear over the last 57 years, but it’s also become known for its marketing prowess. With the help of Wieden + Kennedy, the North American brand launched its now-famous “Just Do It” slogan in 1987.

Throughout the decades, the three-word phrase has appeared on billboards, in commercials and on product, being interchangeable with the brand’s swoosh logo. And while the slogan has been the center of previous Nike Sportswear collections, it seems an altered version of it is championing the latest effort from the category: “DO YOU.” So far only seen on a Nike Air Max 97, there are surely more pairs in the works. Christian Tresser’s 24-year-old design, however, leads the charge in a predominantly “White/Black” colorway animated with neon green and pink. The most bottom vamp overlays feature the “DO YOU” reminder in vibrant rose, while swooshes across the upper and the full-length Air Max unit deliver stark green contrast. Together, the arrangement is a reminder to be unapologetic about oneself.

Enjoy official images of the latest Air Max 97 here below, and anticipate a Nike.com release soon.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. banner, the Jordan Pro Strong is in the midst of a retro run.
