Although we don’t often come across new iterations of the Nike Air Pegasus ’83, it still remains a classic heritage-style silhouette with an integral part of Nike Running history. The Swoosh now welcomes us to party like its 1983 with the return of the model clad in refreshing, trendy pastels.

The upcoming update covers the plush uppers in “Sea Glass”—a pastel hue that exhibits a tinge of teal. The rest of the model continues the pastel theme, with the suede lacestays and overlays on the toe and heel colored in a light tan dubbed “Rattan.” Furthermore, the leather profile Swooshes and heel tab appear in a creamy “Coconut Milk” shade. Even the usual white tongue, laces, and foam midsole are in the aforementioned off-white hue. A section of the foam midsole also manages to introduce another pastel—specifically a light lilac. The soft violet further tints the Nike logos on the tongue label, heel tab, and insole. A classic Waffle outsole completes this modern take on a timeless silhouette.

Take a closer look at the Air Pegasus ’83 below, which will hit Nike.com in the near future with a price tag of $100.
