And while countless sneaker collectors were disappointed in learning the pair wasn’t a “White Cement” retro, many of these same disgruntled enthusiasts have come around in regards to the style. After delays, the shoes finally release tomorrow, July 3rd, in full family-sizing.
As the pair’s official moniker suggests, the upcoming Jordans are clad in “Tech Grey” and “White.” The latter tone delivers a near-tonal look on the proposition, while the former hue takes over accent detailing throughout the upper and sole unit. Instead of a solid application, however, the contrasting color appears across TPU eye-stays and midsole tooling with speckling, which has led many eager fans to dub the colorway “White Oreo.” The Jumpman logo on the tongue and outsole, as well as upside-down “AIR JORDAN” text behind the tongue, deviate from their understated surroundings in favor of a vibrant red tone that ties the arrangement together well.
