Various Fonts Appear On This Nike Blazer Mid ’77

As the brand’s first basketball-focused sneaker, the Nike Blazer Mid ’77 has served as inspiration for subsequent propositions for the game of hoops. Its latest style, however, plays into the model’s lifestyle sensibilities.

While clad in a rather understated colorway, the forthcoming iteration of the mid-top silhouette indulges in a number of eye-catching details. For starters, the profile swooshes mismatch, with the lateral side’s logo simply being an outline of Carolyn Davidson’s iconic design. Outsoles forgo the “colorless” makeup of the midsole in favor of a light pink look. Lastly, the kid’s Blazer Mid abandons standard “NIKE” branding on the heel underlay in favor of a handful of fonts spelling out the North American brand’s name, as well as “JID” (Just Do It); these playful logos also appear on the sock-liner, but forgo their embroidered composition in favor of a printed one.

Enjoy official images of the pair here below as you wait for a Nike.com launch.
