Earth Meets Water With This “Fossil Stone” And “Ash Slate” Nike Aqua Rift

With the summertime calling for lightweight sneaker alternatives, Nike already has several models ready to be introduced in new colorways. Such silhouettes include the Nike Aqua Rift, which pairs “Fossil Stone” with “Ash Slate” for its next offering.

A combination of two ’90s styles, the Nike Air Rift and Nike Aqua Sock, the Aqua Rift delivers the utmost comfort and style while maintaining a water-resistant build. The padded toe and mesh heel opt for a “Fossil Stone” coloring while the midfoot sees “Ash Slate.” Although the two aforementioned shades are rather neutral tones, vibrant teal piping details are used to create a graphic look. Furthermore, the closure of the midfoot strap features a rubber overlay that includes a bold crimson Swoosh. To round out the design, the silhouette’s signature chunky sole unit and split-toe detail are present as avant-garde touches.

Take a closer look at the Aqua Rift below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months.

In other Swoosh-related news, an upcoming Nike Air Max 97 is dressed in pretty pinks.
