While not new to the NIKE, Inc. roster, the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility hasn’t seen the widespread adoption that some of its modernized counterparts have. Yet, a recent string of colorways suggests the North American conglomerate is investing energy behind the model ahead of fall.
Unlike a previously-seen iteration reminiscent of Star Wars’ Boba Fett, a newly-surfaced pair indulges in a rather tonal black arrangement. Uppers don’t boast the water-resistance that GORE-TEX-backed options do, but they feature a mix of breathable, durable and protective materials that deliver noticeable defense against the elements when compared to the non-Utility Nike Air Presto. Zippers near the ankle deviate from the surroundings in a vibrant blue tone, just as branding on the lateral midsole and top of the tongue does. Lastly, the running-informed outsole opts for an all-black look.
An official Nike.com release date hasn’t been disclosed, but this mid-top Air Presto is likely to arrive by autumn. In any case, enjoy images of the shoes ahead.
