Michael Le With the Dunk High Rebel, quite a bit — but not everything — you’ve known about the classic is out the window. In certain aspects, the modern update abandons the original, going in a different direction entirely. And while it may adopt the iconic “Michigan” colorway here, what it does with it is still distinct from its older, more esteemed counterpart.
The Maize and navy color are intact, thankfully, placed along the base and overlays as per usual. But in subversion, a bright red joins in, bringing attention to both mini-Swooshes and additional set of accenting panels. Then, below, the platform sole is kept a pristine white shade like the relatively standard tongue above.
