In the past year, Nike has made large strides towards zero, incorporating sustainable efforts throughout the entirety of the umbrella. And soon, Jordan Brand will lead the way for Fall 2021 with the Air Jordan 12 Utility “Grind.”
As its namesake implies, Grind materials are the star of the show, dressing the entire sole explicitly. Scraps of many a different color embed within, giving the icy blue finish a deceptively glitter-covered look. Above, the construction seems far more ordinary, though its leathers and nubuck panels are likely part-recycled themselves. Shaded in black, these fixtures lay the foundation, its black polish improved by red branding and decals as well as silver metallic hardware.
For a closer look at this Earth conscious AJ12, see the newly surfaced official images below. A release is currently slated to hit Nike SNKRS and retailers on August 28th.
In other news, the Air Jordan 4 Lightning is releasing in full family sizes around the same time.
