YG And K-Swiss Team Up For The Glitter-Covered K-Swiss Classic LX “Disco”

YG And K-Swiss Team Up For The Glitter-Covered K-Swiss Classic LX “Disco”

The intersection of sneaker culture and hip-hop has brought about new styles that embrace the creative visions of no other than musicians themselves. Adding to the ever-growing list of collaborative offerings is the return of the iconic K-Swiss Classic LX in a glitzed-out makeover courtesy of rapper YG.

As suggested by this new arrangement’s name, “Disco,” the chart-topping artist covers the entirety of the model’s uppers in chunky silver glitter. However, the 50-year-old silhouette does retain its classic five-stripe design, which exhibit a white patent leather finish. The familiar D-rings and K-Swiss-branded sole unit are also present in true Classic LX fashion. A special tongue label and insole featuring “YG” and “K-Swiss” in a metallic silver gothic font rounds out the bold style to reflect YG’s unique flair.

Take a closer look at the Classic LX below, which will drop on August 25th at FootLocker.com for $125.

In other sneaker news, DTLR and New Balance also have a collaboration coming soon.
