Neon Watermelon Accents Animate The Nike Waffle One

Neon Watermelon Accents Animate The Nike Waffle One

Despite the silhouette of the Nike Waffle One being quite bold itself, a handful of recent releases have proven that the Swoosh’s design team is still able to reimagine the model in new materials and added details. This continues to hold true as a newly-revealed colorway exhibits unique branding and profile Swooshes, as well as a refreshing color pairing.

A white mesh base is met with black suede lacestays and overlays on the heel and toe for a high-contrast look. Instead of the usual leather profile Swooshes, this new pair sees embroidered Swoosh outlines. Additionally, the lateral side features a hot pink tag on the lacestays reading “DO YOU.” The aforementioned neon hue also appears on the iconic stacked heel piece and decals on the tongue and heel tab. Zigzag stitches and the Waffle outsole intro a vivid green into the mix for a fun, watermelon-esque palette to complete the design.

Take a closer look at the Waffle One below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months at a price of $100.

In other Swoosh-related news, a “Peace, Love, Basketball”-themed Nike Air Force 1 is also on the way.
