Michael Le Though not quite the classic we remember, the Air Jordan 6 “Bordeaux” spiritually succeeds a veritable classic. And while some may have preferred it return atop the AJ7, the colorway still offers a strong sense of nostalgia.
Landing in just a couple of days, the offering bears a close resemblance to its inspiration. Black overlays wrap a dark grey base all the same with a suede just as velvet-like in quality. The tooling roughly follow suits, blocking in a way just marginally distinct, while the titular “Bordeaux” brightens up the satin-esque sheen of the instep. The rest of the tongue is where the AJ6 sets itself apart as it replaces the multi-color of the original with a solid neutral.
