Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Denim” Releasing In Adult Sizes

Denim, one of the most iconic fabrics of all-time, has bled into the very fibers of sneaker culture as we know it. Previously, Jordan Brand even collaborated with Levi’s, offering a series of Air Jordan 4s still coveted to this day. And though the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Denim” may lack the American brand’s cosign, it makes use of very similar ideas and palettes.

The indigo-dyed textile itself leads much of the charge, weaving its way atop the toe box, tongue, and mid-panel with a lightly distressed finish. The thick nubuck laid over top opts for a darker navy shade, while the details elsewhere are dressed in tan, mimicking the leather patch often stitched onto a pair of jeans. This is put forward in a number ways: through the contrast stitching of the overlays as well as the color of the lining, tread, and suede Swoosh. What’s more, the Jumpman accents the tongue in red, which ostensibly celebrates the tab found on 501s and the like.

Enjoy a close-up look at the adult size via the official images below. A release date is currently TBD, but it’s likely we’ll hear further word before the end of the year.

In other news, the Air Jordan 13 Dark Powder Blue is landing in full kids sizes this month.
