Michael Le 2021 brought with it a number of Retros — and in Jordan Brand’s case, the Air Jordan 5 was largely at the forefront. Following the re-release of the “Toro Bravo” (or “Raging Bull” as most prefer), the silhouette is also to return in “Oreo.”
Though officially dubbed “Moonlight,” the colorway is a near-exact replica of the original. Suedes wrap the upper in a dark, pitch black, contrasting the bright white midsole and lining adjacent. The cages, then, offer a similarly light but blue-tinted feel that better complements the icy bottom underfoot. Finally, the teeth signature to the model speckle in true-to-OG fashion, earning the beloved “Oreo” nickname that’s been echoed for years.
For a closer look at the classic’s 2021 variant, take another look below. Sizes are scheduled to hit Nike SNKRS and select retailers next week, September 10th.
But before then, the Yeezy Slide Green Glow will kick things off this Monday.
