The Nike Waffle Trainer 2 Is Next To Glisten In Cracked Foil Leathers

The Nike Waffle Trainer 2 Is Next To Glisten In Cracked Foil Leathers

With its streamlined look and classic suede overlays, the Nike Waffle Trainer 2 is recognized as a heritage-style runner to suit all your casualwear needs. However, the vintage trainer is getting glammed up in metallics as it joins the Nike Air Max 97 in flaunting cracked foiled leathers.

The textile upper is composed of metallic gold knits and is paired with stark white leather accents—specifically the lacestays, profile Swooshes, and heel tab. Cracked gold materials that were previously seen on the AM 97 now make up this Waffle Trainer 2’s toe and heel overlays. Unlike the Max Air proposition, this offering also invites silver to tint the laces and branding on the tongue label. This mixed-metal look is complete with a golden yellow foam midsole with an iconic Waffle rubber outsole underfoot.

Enjoy official images of the Waffle Trainer 2 below, which will arrive at Nike.com in the coming months at a price of $100.

In other Swoosh-related news, images of Travis Scott’s Nike Air Max 1 “Wheat” have surfaced.
