The Reebok Instapump Fury X GORE-TEX Is Set To Launch On September 15th

In the many, many years since its founding, the Reebok Instapump Fury has seldom seen an upgrade save for its brief fling with adidas BOOST. Today, though, that changes for the better as the Vector Brand teams up with GORE-TEX to give the icon a utilitarian makeover.

Rather than simply slap on the cold-proof material, the two are reimaging the silhouette from the ground up. The sole, for starters, is improved with a new, ripple-adorned tread that’s far more suited for slippery floors. Above, the upper is heightened to a boot-akin height, its bootie tight at the collar to better insulate. Adjacent, the bladder — which gives off a much more technical feel — is subtly rearranged, given a new zip fastener and new pump placement. And to keep the kit grounded in heritage, the colorway is near identical to the ever-beloved “Citron.”

Enjoy a closer look at the official images below. While currently scheduled to release September 15th, select retailers already have sizes in stock.
