Michael Le Considering its performance aptitude, it wouldn’t be far off to say that the Zoom VaporFly NEXT% deserves the gold. And with its latest colorway, it seems to have earned such a medal as it dons the metallic alongside a new, blacked out shell.
While no grand showing, the gilding is ever-apparent, seen throughout not just the Nike branding but also the decals that dress adjacent. Elsewhere, the rest of the construction is lensed through dark neutrals, with grey and black composing much of the upper’s weave. Below, the tooling rounds out the palette in white, matching the threads that give the above Swooshes their contrast.
