The Air Jordan 1 GORE-TEX Appears In A Grey Color Palette

The Air Jordan 1 GORE-TEX Appears In A Grey Color Palette

As the winter gets closer and closer, the need for technical materials becomes more and more important. Jordan Brand, thankfully, is already well-prepared, upgrading their beloved Air Jordan 1 with one of the most resistant fabrics of them all: GORE-TEX.

After an early debut, the silhouette returns in a second, grey-dominant colorway. And unlike the first, this pair is far more visually dynamic, alternating between its neutrals in a more interesting fashion. The aforementioned shade sets the stage, dressing the toe cap, eye stay, and collar, while a lighter, cream-based leather sits adjacent along the ankle flaps and counter. Underneath, the base, whose synthetic leverages GORE-TEX’s protective innovation, is dyed white, sitting tonally opposite of the blacked laces, lining, and branding.

For a closer look, check out the leaked imagery below. Though currently TBD, the release date should be announced within the coming months.

In other news, the Air Jordan 5 Oreo returns this week.
