Michael Le With a new stadium underway, the Clippers have more than enough cause to celebrate. And while the project may still be in its infancy, Nike has quickly gotten to work, unveiling official images of a commemorative PG 5.
An ode to the team’s alternate colors, the silhouette accents its silver metallic upper with pops of both blue and hot pink. The latter is found throughout the branding, dressing up the Swoosh of both the counter and forefoot. Elsewhere, the tongue’s own logos see a similar treatment, matching the aforementioned as well as the trim stitched in adjacent. By comparison, the cool tone is far more subtle as it appears only along the lining, heel pull, and vamp.
