First unveiled as part of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2021 collection, the Air Jordan 5 “Bluebird” is set to release on October 7th.
Ahead of the expected drop date, the pair has surfaced via early in-hand images, which deliver the best look yet at the immediate crowd favorite. Reminiscent of ever-popular University of North Carolina-friendly propositions of yesteryear, the upcoming Jordans boast “Blue Graphite” flair throughout their high quality suede construction. TPU lace guards, mesh profile windows and semi-translucent panels at the outsole deviate ever-so-slightly in an “Ice” hue that likely served as both a fashionable and functional choice (yellowing from age will be delayed). A complementary grey appears on the top of the tongue, as well as around the heel and shark teeth-shaped detailing on the midsole.
