The Stadium Goods x BAPE STA “Lexington Grey” Releases Tomorrow

The Stadium Goods x BAPE STA “Lexington Grey” Releases Tomorrow

It hasn’t been long since A BATHING APE revived the BAPE STA. But in that short time, the Japanese label has done well to bring the silhouette back to form, introducing a new mold far more reminiscent of the original from two decades ago. Additionally, collaborations have started to roll out more frequently, enlisting everything from celebrities to notable retailers like Stadium Goods.

Tomorrow, the New York based shop will officially debut their own BAPE STA, which casts the model in a simple “Lexington Grey” colorway. What the team aimed to achieve is intentionally unassuming, a subversion of what the shoe became signature for throughout its longstanding run. Dark and light shades of grey are applied to the premium suede and mesh, respectively, complementing the leather “STA” logo, matching heel tab, and the branded fixtures adjacent. Black, then, runs across the tread underfoot, while the midsole proffers a vintage-akin yellowing.

Enjoy another look at the pair below. If you’re hoping to try your luck, they’re releasing at 12PM EST tomorrow (10/26) through StadiumGoods.com and the Stadium Goods App.

If you take an L, the Stadium Goods x SK8 STA is releasing October 29th.
