Ahead of its 40th anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 High has emerged in handfuls of experimental styles. Case in point: A canvas and suede arrangement dipped in an off-white, turquoise and black mix.
Akin to a previously-seen iteration clad in autumn-friendly brown and orange, the newly-surfaced pair boasts a strong cloth material at the bases. Hairy fabric, then, lays atop around the forefoot, along the tongue and across the heel. These components opt for a muted off-white tone, while lockdown straps around the ankle join the profile swooshes in their stark black deviation. Accompanying branding and the strap’s loop further interrupt the understated makeup with a vibrant blue tone that propels the high-top Air Force 1 take to Spring 2022. Underfoot, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic silhouette maintains a simply-colored sole unit, with outsoles opting for a “Bone”-like look.
