The Air Jordan 1 Mid has recently joined its shorter counterpart in borrowing the brand’s apparel’s “Diamond” logo. While the proposition hasn’t yet emerged in adult sizes, it’s on its way for full kids sizes.
Akin to a previously-seen Air Jordan 1 Low, the upcoming mid-top option indulges in a black and white colorway across its nubuck and synthetic leather upper. Profile swooshes join the overlays around the toe and along the tongue in their pitch-dark arrangement, while labels on the tongue, non-standard pull tabs at the heel and most of the paneling from mid-foot to spin opt for a contrasting “colorless” makeup. Underfoot, the children’s Air Jordan 1 also boasts the same semi-transparent cream outsole found on the accompanying pair in what’s sure to be a larger collection from Michael Jordan’s subsidiary.
No Nike.com release date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In any case, enjoy official images of the retro ahead.
Elsewhere under the Jumpman umbrella, the Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder” is set to launch on December 23rd.
