Though the holiday season may be in full swing, Vans still allocates enough time to gear up for the harsh weather ahead. Both a gift and a utility, the newly unveiled Sk8-Hi GORE-TEX MTE is the culmination of three main promises: moisture management, thermoregulation, and all-conditions traction.

The silhouette’s exterior layer is reinforced with GORE-TEX, a waterproof fabric used by the likes of Arc’teryx, The North Face, and many, many others. And underneath this resistant shell, a 3M Thinsulate provides cold weather insulation without compromising weight, function, or comfort. All is then sat atop the MTE-3’s new tooling whose All-Trac rubber was designed for all kinds of terrain.

Prepared in numerous colorways, the Sk8-Hi GORE-TEX MTE-3 is available right now via Vans.com for a retail of $160 USD.

In other news, the Air Jordan 1 GORE-TEX is also about to release soon.
