If not for design, the Air Force 1 Fontanka is more than interesting enough in its choice of colorways. And here, we’re witnessing one of the silhouette’s most unique yet, an assembly of not only bright colors but also rarely used patterns.
All is not in excess, though, as neutrals play just as big a part. Atop the toe cap and eye stays — which feature shifted stitching and additional overlays, respectively — white takes a greater stage, complementing the tongue, lining, and the majority of the midsole underneath. The latter’s React-built block, however, is finished in grey, a shade also used above along the suede mid-panel and forefoot. At the counter, the same material is given a bright orange finish that is covered partially by the tortoise shell Swoosh and matching heel tab.
