Nike Revisits An “Aged” Look With The Dunk Low “Vintage Navy”

Nike Revisits An “Aged” Look With The Dunk Low “Vintage Navy”

If you spend any time within sneaker-related “corners” of the internet, you’ve more than likely seen droves of customs modified to appear as though they’ve been around and worn for ages. The “Neo-vintage” wave may be new to some, but the Swoosh has been delivering pre-“aged” propositions for years, with the latest arriving in the form of the Nike Dunk Low “Vintage Navy.”

Akin to some of the most popular releases of Peter Moore’s iconic design since 1985, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a white synthetic leather base that allows overlays to inject contrast into the mix. Unlike “VNTG” offerings from Nike Sportswear from a decade ago, the deep blue panels that appear throughout the upper are left in pristine condition. Midsoles underfoot, however, feature a slightly-yellowed makeover that might lead some spectators to believe the Nike Dunk has been around since the silhouette’s inaugural launch 36 years ago. Traction doesn’t get the “aged” aesthetic, but that surely won’t stop some customizers from distressing it to match the cushioning.

Enjoy official images of the shoes here below, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch in the first-half of the new year.
