Samuel Ross Teases Upcoming Collaboration With ROA

It’s been quite a while since A-COLD-WALL‘s last collaborative effort. While their vulcanized Chuck Taylor did restock this past Holiday season, nothing new has come from the mind of Samuel Ross in a while. But that may finally change in a couple months’ time as the designer has just teased an upcoming partnership with none other than ROA.

Arguably popularized by ALYX and its founder Matthew M. Williams, ROA is an Italian footwear brand known well for their technical, outdoors-inspired designs. And though replete with notable silhouettes like the Neal and Andreas, these offerings serve only as inspiration for Ross’s DUOMO and STRAND. The latter, which is a far more straightforward hiker, proffers robust fabrics, metallic hooks, and number of reflective details. The DUOMO, in heavier contrast, forgoes its lace unit for a strapped down covering; this shield is then overlaid with branding and materials similar in finish to the aforementioned.

Enjoy a quick look at the two pairs below. Sit tight for word on pricing and release date, which should surface very soon.

In other news, images of the Air Jordan 1 Varsity Red have surfaced.
