CDG And Vans Dress Their Logo-Clad Old Skool In A New White Colorway

Almost exactly a year ago, Vans teamed up with COMME des GARÇONS‘ latest diffusion, CDG, for a logo-clad take on the Old Skool. And following a few more collaborations, the two are finally reuniting atop the same silhouette, this time dressing it up in a white colorway.

Similar to the original, the pair gives off an aesthetically familiar feel, appearing more like one of the Anaheim brand’s perennial GRs. White is used for the laces as well as the side and Jazz Stripe, while the suede overlays deviate subtly with their off-white finish. Below, the foxing tints a dark black, matching the emboldened “CDG” text that’s plastered across the entire midsole.

For a closer look at the latest CDG x Vans, see below. A release is currently slated to hit CDGCDGCDG.com as well as Dover Street Market on January 7th.
