It’s no secret that NIKE, Inc. cares about the Nike Air Force 1. A lot. As one of its most important (and financially successful) designs of the last 40 years, the made-for-basketball silhouette has been dressed in countless ensembles, with the latest arriving in the form of the high quality “Craft” iteration.
While not new to Bruce Kilgore’s design from 1982, the Craft-variant of the top-selling sneaker of 2021 (U.S.A.) displays a fan-favorite “Tan” color alongside new detailing. Tumbled leather makes up most of the shoe, while hairy grey suede lands on the profile swooshes and upper heel overlay. Furthermore, light pink takes over branding on the top of the tongue, lace dubraes and non-standard tabs on the spine, further propelling the Air Force 1 Low into a spring-ready aesthetic. Sole units also join in on the fun, delivering a fan-favorite light gum brown outsole, which has appeared on some iconic makeovers of Kilgore’s 40-year-old creation throughout the decades.
Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
