This Nike Air Force 1 Mid Features Cactus Plant Flea Market Style Branding

In its short time with Nike, Cactus Plant Flea Market has managed to create some of the most compelling shoe collaborations over the last three years. Cynthia Lu, who sparsely ever appears in the limelight, has done plenty to draw attention to her brand thanks to her imaginative takes on Swoosh footwear, revealing a breadth of referential knowledge through a design language that can only be described as dramatic. Lately, she’s been turning heads with her Air Escape 3 inspired Dunk Low, but it all started with the Vapormax 2019 for which she applied oversized branding around the shoe’s exterior.

Similar treatment is apparent in this upcoming Air Force 1 Mid, an in-line offering from Nike that has no actual connection with CPFM. Still, its influence is clear, with the over-sized fore-foot Swoosh logo and giant NIKE patch lettering appearing on the medial side. The light upper and solid sail tinted sole is rather standard for Nike Sportswear general releases, but it’s clear that these are not meant to blend in.

A release date hasn’t been revealed just yet, and we expect more colorways of this Air Force 1 style to surface, so stay tuned for updates and enjoy the detailed look below.
