This Air Jordan 1 Mid Sits Somewhere Along The Reptile Family Tree

This Air Jordan 1 Mid Sits Somewhere Along The Reptile Family Tree

Whether or not you still dismiss the Air Jordan 1 Mid, you can’t deny that the shoe has put out a wealth of solid releases in recent years. Some even rival the Retro High OG, leading with beloved colors like “University Blue,” “Particle Grey,” and the like. And though a bit more divisive than these colorways, this upcoming pair does well to expand the silhouette’s palate, as it integrates reptile-like textures.

Other than its overlays and Swoosh, whose scales and bright green color are reminiscent of the animals themselves, the design is rather straightforward. White, as is typical, builds out much of the base in smooth leather, matching that of the laces, midsole, and Wings insignia adjacent.

For a closer look at this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid, check out the leaked imagery below. A release date is still TBD, but it shouldn’t be long before we hear official word.

Elsewhere in Jordan news, the Undefeated Jordan 4 might be releasing this year.
