Springtime Blossoms Appear On This Nike Air Max 97

Floral themes are common year-round, but they tend to bloom the most during the Spring/Summer season. Set to arrive soon as part of Nike’s SS22 in-line product is Air Max 97 covered in a bounty of seasonal colors, with shades of light blue, mint green, yellow, and red convening on a primarily white base. These types of colorways have always pleased Nike fanatics, but there’s an added twist to these that make them a bit more attractive.

On the insole is a full pattern of florals that closely resemble cherry blossoms. But with our resident botanist in the Sneaker News office currently unavailable, our best guess is either a spray rose or a red camellia as both feature red petals with yellow filaments. Still a nice touch, although they’re completely hidden when worn.

Either way, these exterior colorway is one of the better ones we’ve seen in a while, and we expect these to clear out once they hit Nike.com and select retailers. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated.
