Nike Is Bringing Back The Air Max 180 “Bluebird” For The First Time

Vibrant pastels were huge in the 1990s, and few companies embodied the era’s optimistic, energetic spirit more than Nike. If you often find yourself reminiscing about a time before social media and the SNKRS App, 2025 is your year. On top of “Grape” Jordan 5 and “Aqua” Jordan 8 retros, we’re learning that Nike plans to bring back the Air 180 in its original “Bluebird” colorway.

The “Bluebird” Air 180 features off-white suede and white nylon across the base, confining vibrant pops of color to some of the model’s central features. The Swoosh, lining, tongue piping, and toe portion of the outsole all come in periwinkle blue, while the heel counter, Air unit border, and tongue branding add balance in teal. This marks the “Bluebird” colorway’s first ever retro release, meaning there should be plenty of Air 180 fans aiming to hunt ’em down.

No date has been set at the time of this writing, but the arrival of official retailer images suggests a release is right around the corner. Know that this page as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub will update with new info as it comes in.
