Nike Commemorates LeBron’s Return To Cleveland With LeBron 19 “Chosen 1”

LeBron James will be soaking in a lot of attention this All-Star Weekend for more reasons than the usual. With the mid-season exhibition taking place in Cleveland, LeBron’s return will be a side-plot to focus on as there will likely be some type of homecoming hoopla during the star-studded affair. While there may not be any brand activations by Nike, their hoops division has created a special LeBron 19 that commemorates this return to The Land.

Dubbed the “Chosen 1”, this LeBron 19 features a mosaic of illustrations inspired the 18-time All-Star’s upbringing. Furthermore, the moniker is a nod to the giant tattoo on his back. It’s unclear of LeBron James will wear these during the game, or if they’ll even be available to the public, but we’re glad to see that the All-Star tradition is going strong.
