Michael Le When Nike introduced “Next Nature,” it felt as if both Space Hippie and Crater were coming to an end. But as recent reveals confirm, the brand still has plenty in store for the two collections, and the latter is even adding the beloved Waffle One to its ranks.
Here, the Waffle One Crater appears in yet another simple colorway. White neutrals dress most of the upper, including the leather eye stays, lace unit, and mesh base. The arrangement does then fade to a light grey for the overlays, while the tongue’s outline opts for a similar but much cooler finish. What’s more, alongside the scrap-replete midsole, the shoe features an emerald heel clip, whose pattern feels indescribably nostalgic.
