For more than 100 years, New Balance has been associated with high quality. For an upcoming XC-72 duo, the North American brand has upped the ante with the help of Europe’s END. in the creation of the “Art Of Nothing” capsule.
Consisting of nine pieces, the collection’s headliners are unquestionably the two New Balance XC-72 pairs included. Inspired by 1970s silhouettes, the low-top, sporty model gets covered in a mix of simple color tones, with “Angora” stealing the show across both offerings. “Marblehead” and “Gum” appears on one of the two options, with the accompanying style boasting a near tonal ensemble. Each END. x New Balance take, however, indulges in premium pig suede across much of the upper, though the mostly “Angora”-colored XC-72 also features a porous mesh base. The newer NB shoe takes design cues from performance-running footwear of decades past, but its latest understated, luxurious ensembles were designed to pair perfectly with loungewear for any leisure-filled day.
Enjoy campaign imagery of the two XC-72 pairs ahead, and try your luck via raffle on END. Launches on February 25th.
