Every year, Jordan Brand celebrates the college teams under their wing with a series of Player Exclusive offerings. For the 2022 season, the Air Jordan 6 is taking the helm; and just as it dressed up in UNC colors, the silhouette, too, will wave the flags of the Oklahoma Sooners.
Gone are the premium, exotic materials of 2021’s Air Jordan 5s. In their place, the Jumpman is adopting a retro, vintage feel, customizing the Air Jordan 6 with yellowed soles and a lightly distressed leather upper. Here, the latter takes on a “Crimson” shade, joining the “OU” markings in paying homage to the Sooners. What’s more, the chenille patches atop the lace shield, which display “23” and the Jumpman logo, emulate the customizations often done to varsity jackets.
