Jovani Hernandez A couple of years removed from its milestone 25th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 95 continues being part of the brand’s core line of products. As Air Max Day 2022 inches closer, Sergio Lozano’s iconic design has emerged in shades of brown complemented by topographic textures.
Akin to some of the model’s most iconic releases since 1995, the upcoming sneakers feature suede panels lined up along the profiles. Hits of “Rattan” and “Limestone” come together at the tip of the toe and across the sidewalls, getting interrupted by a “University Red”-colored swoosh at the lateral heel. Vamp areas and tongues indulge in an “Off-Noir” mesh, though lace loops boast vibrant yellow, orange and ruby flair that deviate from their surroundings. Underfoot, the sole unit reverts to a pitch-dark arrangement, which covers everything but the Air Max bubble’s underside. The shoes’ most signature detail, however, is the embossed, topographic lines that land all throughout their suede overlays.
