Nike’s “Barb Wire” Collection Expands With A Kid’s Dunk Low

Nike’s “Barb Wire” Collection Expands With A Kid’s Dunk Low

Whether on its own or with the help of collaborators, the Nike Dunk Low has accomplished a lot since debuting in 1985. Recently, Peter Moore’s iconic design has emerged with barb wire-style swooshes and TPU overlays.

Ostensibly part of a larger Nike Sportswear collection given a previously-seen, similarly-styled Air Force 1 Low, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a rather understated color palette across their upper and sole unit. Overlays around the forefoot, along the tongue and throughout the heel deviate from the “colorless” base with their light grey makeup. “NIKE” text at the spine introduce a peculiar neon green into the mix, which doesn’t appear elsewhere on the Nike Dunk. Yet, arguably the mesh construction underneath the collar and the aforementioned profile swooshes steal the spotlight, as they reimagine Moore’s decades-old blueprint in a refreshing manner.

No firm Nike SNKRS release details have been confirmed by the brand, but that’s likely to launch soon. As you wait, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
