Sneaker News The aged, washed denim look has been trending again a bit as it’s been spotted in a number of Nike Sportswear classics. Concepts utilized the era-defining material in its trio of Air Max 1 collaboration, while a Blazer Mid ’77 recently surfaced with the uneven pattern that also boasted red Swoosh logos. It seems as if this Washed Denim look is an upcoming mini-capsule for Nike, because a Dunk High just surfaced sporting the same composition.
Seen here for the first time is the Nike Dunk High “Washed Denim” featuring the vintage-friendly denim twill on the overlay above a white leather base. A matching solid white outsole accompanied by bold red on the Swoosh, back-tab, and tongue suggest a patriotically influenced styling. The mismatched nature of the washed denim adds to the flair of this upcoming Dunk release, which we assume will look different for each pair.
This Washed Denim capsule is expected sometime this spring/summer season, so stay tuned for a release.
