Hailed from Tokyo, Japan, atmos is a sneaker boutique of legend, acclaimed for crafting some of the most beloved Air Max 1 collaborations of all-time. And though many still ship them with Nike, the retailer has recently taken up a more intimate relationship with adidas. Together, the two are about to release collaborative iterations of the Forum ’84 Hi and Forum ’84 Low, casting both in silver metallic.
While they may take a similar approach, there are key differences to the two models. For starters, the low-top trim features white across the laces and stripes, while the heel cup and Trefoil contrast in black. Along the Hi, all of these same details are dyed the darker of the two shades, better complementing the adjacent tongue and collar. Near everything else is shared by the duo, especially the silver metallic that wraps the upper. The latter’s sheen and polish is practically identical across both, which can also be said for the pairs’ cream-finished midsole, buckle/strap, and tongue label.
