Painted Basketball Courts Decorate The Nike Dunk High EMB

The Nike Dunk High debuted in 1985 as a collection hoops staple. While some may still use Peter Moore’s iconic design for its original purpose, the majority of owners wear the shoes for style.

Recently, Moore’s 37-year-old creation appeared in an off-white and black colorway as part of the EMB (read: “Embedded”) series. Profile swooshes indulge in a mismatched arrangement that work in-tandem with the multi-colored graphics on the sock-liners to nod to the artsy basketball courts that exist across the globe. The EMB line has previously delivered homages to famed concrete courts and professional hoops teams, but the latest Nike Dunk touches on a more general aspect of the sport it was inspired by. Four different emblems are stamped onto the sneakers’ inner collar, promoting the game’s global appeal; the insoles feature EMB-specific branding and are covered in the markings of a colorful court.

Enjoy official images of the latest “Embedded” pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch soon.
