As the world spent much of 2020 locked indoors, many — especially those previously-restricted by a dress code — used the time to develop their sense of style, testing out both clothing and sneaker trends. And while prolific even before the pandemic, vintage fashion came out the other side at its most popular, with brands like Nike and adidas hopping on the bandwagon with their own releases.
Much like the Dunk, the Air Jordan 1 Low, too, is seeing the vintage treatment. Here, this “Vintage Grey” colorway, which has surfaced first in GS sizes, features yellowed soles right out of the box. The white used along the base, tongue, and branding, however, are pristine by comparison, lacking even the slightest patina. This is true of the greyed overlays as well, whose smooth leathers are like that of a brand new pair.
