Miami Colors Appear On This Air Jordan 11 Look-See Sample

Holiday season after holiday season, the Air Jordan 11 proves to be the most-coveted sneaker release of the year (at least in North America). As the model exhausts its original lineup of colorways, Team Jumpman is considering non-heritage ensembles for the silhouette.

Recently, a look-see sample of Tinker Hatfield’s 1995 creation appeared clad in Miami-friendly hues. Signature patent leather mudguards, ripstop nylon base layers and other components throughout the upper indulge in an ocean-reminiscent teal that works in-tandem with vibrant orange flair at the Jumpman heel logos to create a one-two punch of boldness. Unlike other propositions of the 11th design in the Air Jordan series, the newly-surfaced pair features the upper’s color combination across icy blue tread underfoot: logos visible at center of the outsole bring the citrus tone underfoot, while the traction zones that sandwich them compliment them with vibrant green.

Enjoy a first look at the pair ahead, courtesy of Instagram user @collectors_closet, and keep your fingers crossed that the SoFlo-appropriate colorway sees a Nike SNKRS launch eventually.

For kicks with confirmed release dates, check out the Jordan 5 “Green Bean” retro set to arrive on May 28th.
